Yes - A visa is required for travel to Mali

A valid passport and missionary visa are required for travel to Mali.

Passport Requirements:

Original, signed passport valid for 6 months beyond stay in Mali, with at least one blank passport page available for Mali visa stamp. Amendment pages in the back of the passport are not suitable for Mali visas.

Mali Visa Application Form:

Two original Mali visa application forms. After placing your order, fill out the application forms included in your Visa Application Kit.

Photo Requirements:

Two recent, identical, 2 x 2 passport photographs, in color, front view and with a plain/light background.


OR - you can upload a photo when you place your order, instead of providing physical passport photos.

Other Forms:

A letter of intent outlining the applicant's purpose of travel to Mali, the length of intended stay, name of places to be visited, contact information and accommodation information.

Letter Of Invitation:

A letter of invitation from the host organization or sponsor in Mali explaining the relationship to the applicant and the purpose of travel to Mali. In addition, the letter must indicate the length of stay, place of stay, and host’s name and contact information, and include the applicant’s name, date of birth, and passport number.

Medical Requirements:

International certificate of vaccination against yellow fever.
